Level 2: As of 31/5/20, we are able to meet with gatherings up to 100 people.
So services resume at 8am & 10am on Sundays and 10am on Thursdays.
The 3 principles we all need to follow for safety in Level 2 are:
Separation | Contact Tracing | Hygiene.
So it is still not back to normal. A 1m separation is still to be maintained between bubbles.
mainly music, Messy Church and Selwyn Centre have not resumed yet.
See the menu tab "Online Services" for continuing Prayer and Worship resources.
These are trying times and may be a significant source of stress. I encourage you to “Keep Calm and Wash Your Hands!” Be careful of the anxiety and fear which are around. Let’s take sensible precautions but let’s not be consumed by fear. King David wrote, “When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid.” [Psalm 56:3-4] David knew what it was to be afraid – and he knew what to do when he was. He strengthened himself in the Lord. “When I am afraid, I will trust in you.”
Let’s continue to be mindful of one another; Bishop Ross wrote, “I urge people in our churches to do their best to adapt to these changing circumstances, and to continue to care well for one another.”
Peace be with you,
Welcome to St Stephen's - online
Our Vision: Growing in faith, love and mission.
To glorify God and fulfill God’s purposes by: bringing people to faith in Christ; deepening our discipleship; being equipped for ministry and mission in the name of Christ.
We are a welcoming Church family that gathers for vibrant and joyful worship, studying God’s word, prayer, and community life in which we experience support and a sense of belonging as we seek to live out our Christian faith in the power of the Holy Spirit.
