Vicar's Welcome
These are trying times and may be a significant source of stress. I encourage you to “Keep Calm and Wash Your Hands!” Be careful of the anxiety and fear which are around. Let’s take sensible precautions but let’s not be consumed by fear. King David wrote, “When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid.” [Psalm 56:3-4] David knew what it was to be afraid – and he knew what to do when he was. He strengthened himself in the Lord. “When I am afraid, I will trust in you.”
Let’s continue to be mindful of one another; Bishop Ross wrote, “I urge people in our churches to do their best to adapt to these changing circumstances, and to continue to care well for one another.” Peace be with you, Ian |
