In the Ripple Effect small groups we are thinking about sharing our faith. Today's sermon focusses on Bartimaeus, the blind beggar, whose sight was restored by Jesus. But more than an account of healing it tells of someone coming to faith in Jesus. Crucially, Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?" That is a question for us all to ponder ... and answer.

In our service, we hear more about the recently developed vision for the parish in the context of Jesus' call to mutual servanthood.
As we follow "The Big Story of God", we are up to "Jesus died and rose again." How do we know anyone? - through what they do and say. We look at what Jesus said about himself and what he did. We hear something of the account of Jesus death and resurrection.
Being the Sunday after St Francis Day, the theme was Care of Creation with a blessing of pets.
