Donations

Tax benefits for charitable giving
The NZ tax system encourages charitable giving by offering tax benefits.  Individuals can claim a 33.33% tax credit for all donations over $5 they make to an approved registered charity such as St Stephen’s.  Donations are recorded by the Diocesan accountants who provide donation receipts after the end of the 31 March financial year.

If you want to give to the Church directly you may deposit or transfer to our ASB accounts.  Please use the reference fields to show who you are (One initial & as much surname as will fit) and the purpose of the deposit (General; Chapel; Furnishing, etc).

For general donations
: 12-3084-0097535-04
For the memorial wall: 12-3084-0097535-53
For special purposes (missions, building): 12-3084-0097535-

Thank you very much!

Leaving a Legacy

In today’s competitive funding environment, establishing and maintaining a solid financial base for future operations is becoming increasingly challenging. Remembering your Church in your Will is a very effective way of ensuring St Stephen’s can continue to grow and meet people’s needs beyond your lifetime.
