Homegroups

Attending a weekly home group is a great way to form strong and supportive friendships and to learn more about our faith.  For a suitable Home Group, have a word to Guinny (09 422 0441).

There are a good number of mid-week Home Groups (for Bible Study/Discussion/Prayer & friendship) in the Parish, some in the evening and some held in the daytime, both morning and afternoon. This provides a geographical spread of venue (we meet in various homes) and a variety of topics to choose from.

Each group chooses its own material according to their needs and wishes.

The following groups meet:

The Puhoi Group: Living beyond the parish boundary our group comprises members from Whangaparaoa, Puhoi and Waiwera.

We meet in Stanmore Bay following on from the Alpha Course.

A small group meeting in the Church Meeting Room.  We really enjoy our weekly fellowship and study together.

We meet in various homes around Stanmore Bay area using Bible series.

Another Stanmore Bay/Manly group.

Matakatia (the name of the area where we meet) means “to look carefully at.”  And that is what we do together.  Meetings start with coffee, cake and talk before a time in which we pray for matters concerning our lives and that of the wider community.

Meeting in the Youth room downstairs at church, we like to work our way through studies of Biblical books.

A study applying the Bible to our lives.  (We meet in Gulf Harbour).

If you are new to the area – this is a great way to get to know people and feel included in the church community in a warm and stimulating atmosphere.

 Do join us!
